Holiday Hours:

We are open on Mother’s Day and maintain extended hours during Valentine’s Day Week, as well as Mother’s Day Week. We are closed during the following six national holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas periods. During the busy floral weeks of Christmas and Valentine’s Day, we advise customers to place orders early to receive the best possible selection and service. We do our best to accommodate same-day delivery requests during these busy times. However, we cannot guarantee every last-minute order due to sheer volume. We strongly recommend that customers place orders two days prior to each major holiday.

Delivery Policy

Our standard delivery fee of $20 applies to orders for addresses anywhere within a 5-mile radius of our main location in Irvine; additional fees apply based on the mileage our driver needs to travel to hand deliver your flowers. Please note that there may be additional charges for special-time requests or rush deliveries or long distance locations not in normal service area. Also, for specific time requests, we will do our best to accommodate but cannot guarantee exact times. Orders for delivery anywhere in Orange County must be received before 2PM in the recipient’s time zone to ensure same-day deliveries. Orders received after 2PM will be delivered the following day. Please note that we do not accept international orders. Refund/Cancellation Policy To provide you with the best possible service. You can cancel your order at any time if it has not been designed prior to delivery. However, if your order is designed, is en route, or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order. You can call us at 949-474-7311 anytime to cancel an order. We will try our best to accommodate your request as long as it meets our cancellation policy.

Return and Replacement Policy, Delivery fee for Bird of Paradise Florist

Bird of Paradise Florist – Irvine: All prices listed include mandatory service charges, excluding taxes and variable delivery fees. Delivery charges are calculated based on your recipient’s address, urgency, and/or timed deliveries. We are committed to transparent pricing in compliance with California’s SB 478
At Bird of Paradise Florist, we strive to provide the highest quality flowers and excellent customer service. To ensure transparency and fairness in our business practices, we have established the following return and replacement policy for our valued customers.  Return and Refund Policy for Damaged or Problematic Orders:
Customers must notify Bird of Paradise Florist within 24 hours of receiving their order if there are any issues or damages with the arrangement.
To be eligible for a return and refund, customers must provide clear photographic evidence of the problem or damage.
Bird of Paradise Florist reserves the right to request additional information or evidence to assess the claim.
If the issue is confirmed, Bird of Paradise Florist will provide a full or partial refund or a replacement arrangement, depending on the customer’s preference.
Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment.
Please note that delivery fees are not refundable.
Replacement Policy for Unwanted Orders:
If, for any reason, the customer is not satisfied with the arrangement they received, they must notify Bird of Paradise Florist within 24 hours of delivery.
Customers requesting a replacement must return the original arrangement to Bird of Paradise Florist’s physical location.
The replacement arrangement will be provided based on availability and will be of equal value to the original arrangement.
If the desired replacement arrangement exceeds the value of the original, the customer will be responsible for paying the price difference.
Bird of Paradise Florist reserves the right to refuse replacement requests in cases of misuse or abuse of this policy.
Exceptions:
The return and replacement policy does not cover issues arising from the customer’s negligence or mishandling of the arrangement after delivery, or handed to customer at the store.
Bird of Paradise Florist cannot be held responsible for variations in flower colors, as these are natural products and subject to seasonal availability.
Customized or personalized orders may have limited eligibility for returns or replacements. Please inquire with Bird of Paradise Florist for specific details.
Customer Conduct:
Bird of Paradise Florist values the safety and well-being of its employees. We reserve the right not to serve customers who engage in threatening behavior, including threatening the business, leaving false or malicious reviews, or displaying overtly rude and disrespectful behavior.
We strive to maintain a respectful and positive environment for both our staff and customers.
Order Cancellation:
Bird of Paradise Florist reserves the right to cancel an order and issue a refund at any time if we feel that we cannot serve you or fulfill your wishes.
We acknowledge that our services may not be suitable for everyone, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel orders that do not align with our capabilities or values.

However, there may be circumstances where certain flowers or floral arrangements are unavailable due to seasonal variations, supplier limitations, or unforeseen events. In such cases, we have implemented the following substitution policy to ensure that our customers receive a suitable alternative and continue to enjoy a delightful floral experience.

Substitution Authorization: By placing an order with Bird of Paradise Florist, due to seasonality and availability of flowers, you authorize us to make substitutions as necessary. Our skilled professionals will carefully select the best alternative that closely matches the style, color, and overall aesthetic of the original arrangement. We guarantee that all substitutions will be of equal or higher value and will not compromise the quality or beauty of the arrangement.

Types of Substitutions: 

a. Flower Varieties: If a specific flower variety is unavailable, we will substitute it with a similar flower that closely resembles the original choice in terms of color, size, and overall appearance. 

b. Colors and Tones: We understand the significance of color in floral arrangements. In the event that the exact color or tone is unavailable, we will substitute it with a color that complements the overall arrangement and maintains its visual appeal. 

c. Container or Vase: If the specified container or vase is not available, we will substitute it with a similar container of equal or higher value, ensuring that it enhances the beauty of the arrangement

Customer Communication

a. Notification: If a substitution is necessary, we will make every effort to notify you before fulfilling the order. Our team will reach out to you via the contact information provided during the order placement process to discuss suitable alternatives. If we are unable to reach you, we will proceed with the substitution to avoid any delays in delivery. 

b. Consent: Upon notification of a substitution, we kindly request your prompt response, either giving your consent to proceed with the substitution or requesting a modification to the order.
